Got my hair cut and coloured and then raced home to my beautiful boy. As I pulled into the carpark, he was couched under a car and started crying as soon as I got out of the car. I felt really bad till we got inside and he ran straight to his food bowl and started wolfing down some food. So he was just hungry! He must have had a good time outside in the sun afterall.
Then I went to an Indian grocery shop near me to buy some paneer and fenugreek leaves for dinner. I was making palak paneer (spinach curry with Indian cottage cheese) and also gujarati potatoes. It was nice to find these great ingredients locally. I need to shop there more!
I was pretty impressed with the end result! My best mate (who is Indian) did help me quite a bit with the spices though!
Oh by the way, I turned down that job. I decided that I couldn't live on $17 per hour, including super! What is this, a 3rd world country or something???

Tomorrow I will hang with my Mum, sis and the girls. We will have some lunch and do a bit of clothes shopping with Mum. Way better than going to an interview for a peanuts paying job, wouldn't you say?!
P.S - Thought I would keep blogging for a while. I think it will help me keep on track eating-wise during the silly season. And I will start back on the exercise once I'm not doing night shift anymore...
